Cohesity Project Manager – Remote
Job description:
The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end coordination and delivery oversight of Cohesity implementation engagements across Translucent Services’ customer base. This role serves as the operational link between field engineers, customer stakeholders, and internal leadership — ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to Translucent’s quality standards. The PM owns scheduling, resource coordination, customer communication, project documentation, and reporting across the full engagement lifecycle. As a remote/national role, the PM will coordinate with the client on getting their projects executed across multiple regions and time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery (50%) — Own the full project lifecycle for assigned Cohesity engagements: scoping, scheduling, resource coordination, execution oversight, and closeout. Maintain accurate project status in Zuper and Salesforce. Manage customer expectations proactively and escalate risks before they become issues. Consistently meet or exceed the target monthly project closure rate
- Customer & Stakeholder Communication (30%) — Serve as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle. Conduct kickoff calls, status updates, and closeout reviews. Ensure all pre-work requirements are confirmed and customer readiness is verified before each engagement.
- Resource & Schedule Coordination (15%) — Work with Team Leads and field engineers to assign resources, plan travel logistics, and balance workloads across active projects. Coordinate with the Navan travel system to ensure all travel is booked in compliance with company policy.
- Documentation & Reporting (5%) — Maintain complete and current project documentation, including IWBs, project plans, change logs, and post-engagement notes. Ensure Salesforce is updated following every engagement. Provide weekly project status reports to leadership as required.
Performance Standards — Reviewed Monthly
- Timesheet Compliance 100% on-time submission every pay period
- Project On-Time Delivery Target: ≥90% of engagements delivered on schedule
- Customer Satisfaction: Zero unresolved escalations at month’s end
- Documentation Currency 100% of projects with current Salesforce records within 72 hours of closeout
- Communication Pre/post-engagement check-ins with the Implementation Engineer and the customer on every project
Required Qualifications
- 2–5 years of project management, program coordination, or IT delivery experience
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a fast-paced, customer-facing environment
- Strong organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills — comfortable interfacing directly with various client/ customer stakeholders
- Proven organizational discipline — tracks deadlines, deliverables, and risks without needing reminders
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification or equivalent (PMI-ACP, CAPM, or similar)
- Familiarity with enterprise IT infrastructure, data center environments, or storage solutions
- Experience managing data storage, backup/recovery, or cloud infrastructure deployments
- Familiarity with Cohesity DataProtect, DataManage, or related platforms
- Experience working with field service or professional services teams
- Familiarity with Navan or similar corporate travel/expense platforms
- Familiarity with Salesforce and Zuper
